When and where it all began, the things that make me tick and what work means to me

Siddharth Menon graduated with a Degree in Geology from the University of Mumbai. Being a self-taught UX designer, Menon became a creator of basic product design systems in the early 2000s.
During his days at university, Siddharth started multiple businesses. The showstopper was how he helped non-scheduled airliners scale their operations.

Post university, Siddharth started 3Crumbs, a mobile first hyperlocal ecommerce platform that helped users rediscover their local markets in an easy serendipitous manner through people they shared interests with and could trust.
With his next venture Just Migrate, he helped people move their blogs seamlessly across different platforms. Few years later Siddharth co-founded CrowdFire.

My reason behind bringing Web3 to India
Web3 represents the next generation of the internet, one that focuses on shifting power concentrated in the hands of big tech companies to a decentralised network of individual users. A world where there are no borders, but one virtual nation which thrives. It is poised to be the natural next evolution of the internet where financial and governance layers will be predominant.
We’re already living in a more virtual world, and as we dive deeper, Web3 will become inevitable. The question is whether we want to build and lead it, or be the followers. India already missed out on the dotcom boom in the ‘90’s and early ‘00. This is our opportunity to place India on the global map as world leaders.
